In this study and discussion of these author designed a wind measurement instrument that serve also as a strong wind warning for highway and bridge user. The purpose of this study was to create a tool that tells warning motorcyclists impending gale, this device works by using the anemometer as the wind speed measuring instrument that is coupled with a rotary encoder proximity disc that can perform wind reading of 0,067 m/s or 0,128 knots in one round per second, by a margin of error of the results of the calibration device in BMKG amounted to 4,96%. In addition, this tool has two indicator lights red and green and equipped with alarms warning of danger. Green light will light up if the wind under the circumstances of 22 knots, and the red light comes on when the condition of the wind blowing more than 22 knots. This device works as it should.
