The rapid development of technology, especially the technology of security systems and comfort in driving requires us to be more active and innovative, the all equipment included in the drive. This thesis explores the design and manufacture of sensing distance in a car using an ultrasonic sensor. This sensor serves as a detector distance on the car. While the output used 3 pieces indicators that buzzer, the red indicator light, and LCD. The sensor can work at a distance of 3cm-300cm, in this paper used only the distance of 3cm-45cm. This tool uses Microcontroller ATMega 8535 as the controller of all systems.Keywords: Ultrasonic Sensor (PING), microcontroller ATMega 8535.
