Meningkatkan Kemampuan Motorik Halus Anak Melalui Media Tanah Liat Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di PAUD Tunas Karya Kecamatan Seberida Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu

This research was motivated by the low fine motor skills ana at the age of 5-6 years in PAUD Tunas Karya Kecamatan Seberida Kabupaten Indragiri Huluwhere they met children who still can not hold the stationery correctly, when the coloring activity that is still out of line drawing, can not be holding small objects with two fingers, and fold that have not symmetrical. This study aims to reveal the fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Tunas Karya Kecamatan Seberida Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. This type of research is the classroom action research (PTK). The place and the time the research was conducted in PAUD Tunas Karya Kecamatan Seberida Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu, which is held for 4 months. Subjects in this study were all children aged 5-6 years who numbered 20 people. Data collection techniques used were observation to collect data using the formula persentasi.Berdasarkan survey results revealed that the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Tunas Karya Kecamatan Seberida Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu can be improved by using the medium of clay. In prasiklus, the value of the average child is 30% or in the category start developing. In the first cycle the average value amounted to 49.67% of children are or are in the category of emerging start. At the end of the second cycle the average value amounted to 85.92% of children are or are in the category of Emerging very good. The increase in the fine motor skills of children from Prasiklus to the first cycle is 65%, the increase in the fine motor skills of children from the first cycle to the second cycle of 73%.
