Fabrikasi Dan Karakterisasi Dye Sensitized Solar Cell Berbasis Nanorod Zno Didoping Galium (Zno : Ga) Dengan Sensitizer Antosianin Ubi Ungu
It has been conducted a preparation of dye hybrid from purple sweet potato as a sensitizer in Dye Sensitized Solar Cell. In this research a variation of precursor pH in extracting antocyanin was carried out. Absorption spectra of purple-sweetpotatos dye was observed at wavelength range of 480-580 nm with strongest absorbance occured at 530 nm. The highest absorbance was resulted from the pH-1 sample which was 2.4 a.u. The DSSC was fabricated by arranging the sandwich structure consisting active material of ZnO nanorods doped with gallium varied at 0%, 0,5%, 1%, 1,5%, 2%, 2,5%, 3% and 3,5% in percentation. The sampels were than characterized by using UV-Vis spectroscopy, XRD (X-ray Diffraction), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) and EDX (Energy Dispersive X-ray). The spectrum of UV- Vis showed that the strong reflektance occured at 400-800 nm. The XRD patterns of the samples showed four difraction peaks at 2θ = 31.78̊, 34.4̊, 36.18̊ , and 47.54̊ which were indexed to crystal planes of (100), (002), (101) and (102), respectively. The FESEM images showed Ga sample 2,5% was the best nanorods produced compared to other samples. The spectrum of EDX of the samples indicated the weight percentage of 85.2%, 12.7%, 2.1%, respectively for Zn, O, and Ga. Fabrication of DSSC has been done by preparing a sandwich structure consisting of Ga-doped ZnO nanorods, electrolyte solution, and a platinum thin film grown on the FTO as a counter electrode. Analysis of I-V characteristics of the cells produced the highest efficiency of 0.365% that was obtained from the best sample utilizing 2.5% Ga-doped ZnO nanorods. Meanwhile, he using of antosianin dye of purple sweet potato showed that the highest efficiency 0.0085 % from the best sample with pH 1.
