ANALISIS USAHA TANI DAN PEMASARAN BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascolonicum) 01 KELURAHAN KULIM KECAMATAN TENAYAN RAYA PEKANBARU
The goals of this research are 1) To analyze the income and efficency of red
onion fanning and 2) To analyze of red onion marketing efficiency at Kulim Village,
District of Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru. This re~earch was conducted over three month,
started from January 2009 until March 2009.
The method that being usej in this research is Survey and Responden taken
technique by sensus, all populations of red onion fanner in Kulirn Village become
observatiaon object. Total of red onion farmer in Kulim village are 5 fanner.
Base on da~ analyze from research resulth, brutto income that gained by
responden is Rp. 27 .180.000/field wide/planting seasons, with fanner earning the net
profit of Rp. 17.328.927,17/field wide/planting seasons. Base on these figure, the
Return Cost Ratio (RCR) that gained from red onion fann analyze is 2,7. As we look at
the RCR value from the red onion farm run by farmer in the Kul!m Village, District of
T l!nayan Raya Pekanbaru are proving to be profitable and worth continuing.
In the red onion marketing process used of two marketing channel to sell their
product, indirect channel and dirt'ct channel of marketing. Have Three Institutior in
the indirect channel of marketing are farmer/produsen, intermedietery merchant and
retailer merchant. The red onion selling price of farmer level is Rp. 9.400/kg
