This research was conducted on September 2015 In The Kelurahan Pasar Baru, Sei Tualang Raso District, City Of Tanjungbalai, North Sumatera Province. The purpose of this research was to know the technique of operation of tuamang fishing gear in generally, the friendly environmentally level and the feasibility of Tuamang. This research used a survey method, by getting sample data of Tuamang about the boat, the Tuamang fishing gear and the fisherman of tuamang. Analysis of data used is a technology analysis of friendly environmentally fishing gear suitable FAO criteria and rentability analaysis of the feasibility. From the results of technology analysis friendly environmentally fishing gear showed that the tuamang is a friendly environmentally fishing gear with the point is 27,3. And from the results of rentability analysis and the feasibility calculations showed that this fishing gear is feasible to continue.
