Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Permintaan Air Bersih Di Kota Dumai (Studi Pada Pelanggan Pdam Tirta Bersemai Kota Dumai)

This research was conducters in Dumai City and PDAM Kota Dumai. Selection of this research location is based on the consideration that Dumai City is one of the areas that clean water problem is one of the main problems that must be overcome. This tyoe of research is quantitative descriptive research that aims to explain an empirical phenomenon with statistical data, characteristic, and patterns of relationship between variables. Based on the problems studied, this research is classified into asymmetric causal research form, ie research that aims to determine the relationship between independent variables to the dependent variables so that the nature of this research is descriptive explanatory. Based on the result of the research, it is found that independent variable consisting of household member, income level, PDAM service quality and PDAM water price together have significant positive affect to dependent variable that is demand for clean water in PDAM kota Dumai. The degree of accuracy of multiple linear regression analysis indicating the amount of donation variation of all independent variables to dependent variable percentage of 60,1% so there are other variables beyond the independent variables that can explain the variation of changes to demand for clean water in PDAM kota Dumai, that is equal to 39,9%. Such as climate change, population characteristic, level of regional progress and other variables that may also affect water demand in PDAM Kota Dumai
