Analisis Pengembangan Industri Rumah Makan Khas Melayu Di Kota Pekanbaru

This research aims to determine development analysis of malay restaurant industry in Pekanbaru City. The theory that used in this research is financial feasibility theory. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with 16 respondents.
The data that used by are primary and secondary data. Primary data directly obtained from malay restaurant entrepreneurs and secondary data directly obtained from institution such as Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Pekanbaru, Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Pekanbaru, and Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu Kota Pekanbaru.
The research results are obtained that Net Present Value method shown positive value in the amount of Rp. 443.048.225,6,-. Net B/C Ratio method results obtained at 2,35. And Internal Rate of Return method in the amount of 51,9%. The last, Payback Period method while 1 year 10 months 6 days. The calculation shown that malay restaurant industry in Pekanbaru city can be developed.
The conclusion is malay restaurant industry in Pekanbaru City can be able to survive and delevoped caused by this industry is able to maintain the creation and ideas power of malay’s special characteristics. And based on the calculation of financial evaluation criteria shown that malay restaurant industry can be developed.
