Pengaruh Jalan, Listrik, Dan Air Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Di Provinsi Riau
Regional economic development is a process of work between local governments and their communities in managing existing resources and establishing a partnership scheme between local governments and the private sector to create new jobs and stimulate the development of economic activities.
The problems discussed in this research are whether the factors of production represented by infrastructure (road, electricity, and water) have significant influence and contribution to the outputs represented by economic growth variables in order to determine the direction of government policy in infrastructure development of Riau Province.
This research uses analysis multiple linear regression. Data in the period from 2001-2016 in Riau Province. To find the result of regression, the classical assumption test such as normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test were performed. Statistical tests such as partial test (t test), simultaneous test (f test), partial correlation coefficient, and multiple determination coefficient (R2).
The end result is of the three variables, the most influential on economic growth is electricity with a significant level of 0.001 with partial correlation coefficient (r) of 82.4%. Road with a significant level of 0.001 with partial correlation coefficient (r) of 82.1%, and water level significant 0.051 with partial correlation coefficient (r) of 55%.
In conclusion is from the three independent variables above two variables that have a significant influence on economic growth ie roads and electricity, and one more variable is not significant to economic growth that is water.
