Analisis Faktor – Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Permintaan Tenaga Kerja Di Provinsi Riau

This research is motivated by the still high unemployment rate in Riau Province in 2017 which is about 222.000 people and the increasing of population which keep increasing from year - year which is not balance with adequate labor demand.
The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series data that began in 2006 - 2015, the analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis, data processed using spss software version 19.0.
Based on the results of partial test (t test) conducted on each - each variable, it is concluded that the variable Minimum Wage Province (X1) with the result t arithmetic of 2.464 and the significance of 0.043 shows the variable Minimum Wage Province affect on labor demand in Riau Province, While the variable of investment (X2) with the calculation result t arithmetic equal to - 2,862 and significance equal to 0,024, indicating investment variable affecting the demand of labor in Riau Province, on test (Test f) showing variable of Province Minimum Wage and Investment with test result 4,133 And the level of significance 009, shows both variables affect the demand of labor in Riau Province. The coefficient of determination (R2) of the Province Minimum Wage variable, and Investment in this research is 54.1 percent, and the rest of 45.9 percent is explained by other variables outside of this research model.
