Internet media can give birth to new activities that are not fully regulated by the current law. This fact has made people aware of the need for regulation that regulates the activities that involve the internet media. Along with the existence of internet media developed in the community was the internet media also gave rise to new anxieties, among others the emergence of new crimes more sophisticated in the form of cyber crime (cybercrime). In perkembangaanya, it turns out that internet media users bring the negative side by opening opportunities for the emergence of anti-social actions and criminal behavior that had been considered impossible. The purpose of writing this thesis, namely First, to know how the arrangement of crime pornography berrdasarkan Law Number 11 Year 2008 About Information and Electronic Transactions.Second, to know the government preventive effort in overcoming the high index of immoral act through social media Bigo Live.
Type of research can be classified in kind of research of sociological juridical,becauseinthisresearchwriter. This type of research can be classified in the type of sociological juridical research, because in this study the authors directly conduct research on the location or place studied to provide a complete and clear picture of the problem under study. This research was conducted at Dumai Town Police Resort, while population and sample were all parties related to the problem studied in this research, data source used primary data, secondary data, and tertiary data, data collecting technique in this research was conducted by questionnaire , interviews, andliteraturereview.
From the results of research problems there are two main things that can be concluded. Firstly, law enforcement and the application of sanctions against pornography through social media Bigo Live based on Law Number 19 Year 2016 Amendment to Law Number 11 Year 2008 About Information and Electronic Transaction at Dumai City Police, this arrangement has not been able to can be directly imposed on the perpetrators of criminal acts of pornography. Second, preventive efforts by the government along with law enforcement officers of municipal police resort dumai is to socialize about the dangers and negative effects of pornography through social media in the community and to some schools. Suggestion Writer, Firstly, Required commitment in law enforcement to pornographic crime through social media Bigo Live and needed to improve the quality of law enforcement resources in law authority, use of law language and also control of facilities and facilities in law enforcement.
