Konsentrasi Klorofil-A Di Danau Maninjau Kecamatan Tanjung Raya Kabupaten Agam Provinsi Sumatera Barat
Anthropogenic activities conducted in the Maninjau Lake produce pollutant that affect the quality of the waters and there was nutrient enrichment that influence the chlorohpyll-a concentration in general. This research aims to understand the concentration of chlorophyll-a in the lake. This research was conducted in January – February 2017. There were 4 stations namely, Station 1 (bay area), Station 2 (inlet area), Station 3 (fish floating cages area), and Station 4 (outlet area). In each station, there were 3 sampling points, in the surface, 2 secchi depth and 4 sechi depth. Sampling was conducted once/2 weeks for 6 weeks period. The water quality parameters measured were depth, transparency, temperature, pH, free CO2, DO, Nitrate and Phosphate. Results shown that depth of the lake was 16.93- 47.53 m, transparency 53.72 - 72 cm, temperature 26.8 – 28.4 °C, pH 6.4 – 7.7, dissolved oxygen 0.24 – 8.09 mg / L. Free carbon dioxide 7.3-32.7 mg / L, nitrate 0.020- 0.288 mg / L, phosphate from 0.068 to 0.128 mg /L. The chlorophyll-a concentrations in the Maninjau Lake was 18.437 – 62.013 μg/L, and it can be categorized as mesotrophic to eutrophic.
