Ekstraksi Senyawa Fenolik Pada Rumput Laut Coklat (Sargassum Sp.) Dengan Penggunaan Rasio Pelarut Berbeda Terhadap Potensi Aktivitas Antioksidan
This research aims to get the best solvent ratio in extracting phenolic compounds that potentially as an antioxidant and see the capacity of potent antioxidant phenolic compounds. The method used was experiment with Completely Random Design (CRD) which consist of 3 levels P1 (1: 3), P2 (1: 6), P3 (1: 9). This study consists of 3 stages of sample preparation, extraction and testing of antioxidant activity. The results showed that the chemical composition of Sargassum sp. water content 28,20 dw, ash content 33,74 dw, fat content 4,54 dw, protein content 8,42 dw, carbohydrate 53,28 dw. The average yield of crude extract of Sargassum sp. are P1 1.44 (%), P2 3.40 (%), and P3 6.34 (%). Phytochemical results showed that phenolics were positively detected on crude extracts of Sargassum sp. The treatment of different ratios gave a very significant effect on the total phenolic P3 (0.69 mg GAE / g), P2 (0.57 mg GAE / g), P1 (0.48 mg GAE / g). Treatment of different ratios gave a very significant effect on antioxidant activity with IC50 P1 (1402.17 μg / ml), P2 (824,08 μg / ml) and P3 624,76 μg / ml). The strength of antioxidant activity is low due to the resulting IC50 value> 500 μg / ml.
