Pengaruh Penggunaan Konsentrasi Hcl Berbeda Pada Ekstraksi Kandungan Mineral Kulit Teripang Pasir (Holothuria Scabra)
This study was conducted to determine the effect of different concentration of HCl extractor solution on the content of sea cucumber minerals (Holothuria scabra). The research was using experimental method and designed to Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatment was the use of HCl as the extractor solution at three different concentrations (6 %, 7 % and 8%). The results showed that the fresh sea cucumber skin was containing 20,57% of moisture, 50.33% of ash, 0.88% of fat, 14.87% of protein and 13.35% of carbohydrate. The composition of the sea cucumber skin powder was including 5.26% moisture content, 61.1% ash, 0.38% fat, 17.02% protein and 16.23% carbohydrate. The mineral content of sand cucumber skin consisted of calcium 0,0043 %, potassium 0,00023%, sodium 0,00054%, magnesium 0,0021% and iron 0,00031%. Meanwhile, the yield of sea cucumber skin powder was 75.71%.
