Dampak Ekonomi Konversi Gas Lpg Ke City Gas Pada Masyarakat Di Kecamatan Lima Puluh Kota Pekanbaru

The purpose of this research was to know how significance the impact of LPG gas conversion to City Gas of the society in the district of Lima Puluh Pekanbaru City. The research method was descriptive quantitative, this research used primary and secondary data. The population of society in the district of Lima Puluh Pekanbaru City that used City Gas was 3.713 household connection and the total of samples were 98 respondents used purpose sampling method. In the research the data was collected by using observation technique, interview and documentation study. The location of this research was in the Distric of Lima Puluh Pekanbaru City that spred to 4 villages, they were Rintis Village, Tanjung Rhu, Sekip and Pesisir.The result of this research showed that the conversion of LPG Gas to City Gas had given positive impact to the society in the Distric of Lima Puluh Pekanbaru City namely it fullfilled fuel needs of the society in the Distric of Lima Puluh Pekanbaru City, Although from the economic side the conversion of LPG gas to City Gas had given the impact of the increasing of societies outcome to fullfilled fuel needs to daily needs with an average expenditure of Rp 15.592 per KK,but from the time efficiency, security factor, and ease of use City Gas was more efficiency than the using of LPG gas . City Gas had low pressure, so it decrease accident risk, from the side of natural gas energy was more sterile too than LPG gas that made burning process became more perfect, so it made production process be faster. The society in the Distric of Lima Puluh Pekanbaru City who did the conversion of LPG gas to City gas had accepted City Gas as alternative fuel LPG gas without perfect element.
