Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berbicara Melalui Media Gambar Seri Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di PAUD Melati Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu

Based on field observations indicate that there are still many children who struggle to repeat a simple sentence, there are still many children who have difficulty answering simple questions, there are still many children who have difficulty saying the words known. The place and the time the research was conducted in PAUD Melati Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu, which was conducted over four months. This type of research using action research (PTK), which is a method of research that aims to see the effectiveness of learning techniques. Subjects in this study were all children aged 4-5 years who totaled 16 people. The tools used to collect data on children's ability to speak is the observation sheet. Based on the survey results revealed that the child's ability to speak in children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Melati Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu before using the media image series speaking skills of children are still low by obtaining an average value of 31%. After the implementation of the actions completed in the second cycle, the acquisition value of the average reading ability of children increased to 84%. Based on the analysis results of the study it can be concluded that the media image series can improve speaking skills of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Melati Kecamatan Rengat Barat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu.
