The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of a child Speaking before the administration method of playing the role of children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Harapan Bunda District of Batang gansal Indragiri Hulu, to determine the ability of a child Speaking after the administration method of playing the role of children aged 5-6 years in ECD Harapan Bunda District of Batang gansal Indragiri Hulu, and to determine the influence of methods of playing a role in the ability of children aged 5-6 years Speaking in early childhood Harapan Bunda District of Batang gansal Indragiri Hulu. The number of samples in this study were 17 children in group B. This study is an experimental research design using one group design with pretest and posttes through observation sheet. From the results of research and discussion obtained explain the ability Speaking of children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Harapan Bunda District of Batang gansal Indragiri Hulu before being given treatment methods of playing the role of children categorized as being that one person, children 16 low category. Meanwhile, after being given treatment methods play a role to increase that there are four children who were high category 9 children who were categorized as medium and low category 4 people. It can be seen from the results of the t test that t is greater than t table, hitung14,478 t> t table 1,697. So the use of methods play a role very effectively used to improve speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Harapan Bunda District of Batang Gansal Indragiri Hulu.
