Analisis Efisiensi Penggunaan Faktor-Faktor Produksi Pada Industri Furnitur Dari Kayu Di Kota Pekanbaru

Wood furniture industry in Pekanbaru city is one of small and medium industries (IKM) which has potential in spurring growth of industrial sector in Pekanbaru City is wooden furniture industry. One of the things that encourage the level of wood furniture use in Pekanbaru is the increasing population in Pekanbaru City every year. Constraints that cause the decline of industrial production is the higher cost of production, such as rising raw material costs, labor costs, and other costs, so that the costs incurred in producing the higher and become inefficient. In this case the problem of how to reduce the production cost of the furniture industry to a minimum so that the use of input or production factors can also be efficient, so that the resulting production jugabisa optimal.
There are also objectives of this research is to analyze the level of technical efficiency, price efficiency (allocative), and economic efficiency in wood furniture industry in Pekanbaru City and know the condition of Return to Scale wooden furniture industry in Pekanbaru City. The population of this study is the wood furniture industry entrepreneurs Registered in Disperindag Pekanbaru City that is as much as 41 using the whole population to be a research sample. Data analysis was performed using Cobb-Douglas production function, and efficiency testing, both efficient siteknis, price efficiency and economic efficiency with the help of software frontier vertion 4.1c.
Based on the results of research in the know that technical efficiency of 0.6807, price efficiency (allocative) of 3.2147 and economic efficiency of 2.1882. This shows that the wood furniture industry in Pekanbaru City is efficient, technically, price (allocative) and economical. In this research note that Return to Scale (RTS) is sebebsar 1,6663. This indicates that the wood furniture industry in Pekan Town is in the condition of Increasing Return to Scale (IRS) so it can be said that this condition is feasible to be developed or forwarded.
