Pola Konsumsi Masyarakat Petani Padi Sawah Di Kecamatan Kuala Kampar Kabupaten Pelalawan

In the economic activity of a country, consumption has an important role in it and has a very big influence on the stability of the economy. Family consumption is one of the economic activities of the family to meet various needs of goods and services. Of the commodities consumed that will have its own satisfaction. This study aims to determine the pattern of consumption of rice farmers in the Village District Kuala Kampar Pelalawan District.
The analysis method used is descriptive and qualitative analysis. Population in this research is all farmer of paddy paddy field in Kecamatan Kampar by using slovin formula calculation that there are 98 sample. Data were collected by interview, observation and record method. Sampling method is purposive random sampling. Data type consists of primary and secondary data.
The results of this study indicate that the number of family dependents of paddy farmers ranged from 1 to 8 people. This means that the more the number of dependents of the family, the more expenditure, and the effect on fixed income is more spent to food consumption than the expenditure for non-food. so that the consumption pattern of paddy farmer community in Kuala Kampar sub-district is greater in the pattern of food consumption compared with non-food consumption pattern.
