Pengetahuan, Sikap Dan Tindakan Dokter Praktik Umum Swasta Terhadap Diagnosis Dan Tatalaksana Tuberkulosis Paru Berdasarkan International Standards For Tuberculosis Care (ISTC) Di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

Indonesia is a second country with burden pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) cases worldwide in 2015. Riau province with Case Notification Rate (CNR) is low with Rokan Hulu regency Case Detection Rate (CDR) are 41,3% cases in 2015. A private general practitioner (DPUS) is one of choice for most patients in pulmonary TB’s treatment. This is a descriptive crossectional study that use questionnaire to determine knowledge, attitude and practice of private general practitioner towards pulmonary TB’s diagnosis and management by International Standards for Tuberculosis Care (ISTC). Sample for this study is DPUS in Rokan Hulu regency who has practice licenses (SIP) and agreed to participate. Sample will be excluded if DPUS is not at place after three times of visitation, and this study involving 40 samples. Out of 40 samples have gotten 45,0% of DPUS had good knowledge, had enough 22,5%, while 32,5% had less knowledge. Attitude DPUS had mostly negative attitude 52,5% DPUS and 47,5% positive attitude. Meanwhile for practice 35,0% had good, 32,5% had enough and then 32,5% had less practice. The knowledge and practice of private general practitioner towards pulmonary TB’s in Rokan Hulu regency is good but for attitude still negative. So, it’s might indicate the Private General Practitioner education about Pulmonary TB’s diagnosis and management by ISTC was needed.
