Pengetahuan, Sikap Dan Tindakan Dokter Praktik Umum Swasta Di Kecamatan Sukajadi Dan Pekanbaru Kota Terhadap Diagnosis Dan Tatalaksana Tuberkulosis Paru Berdasarkan International Standards For Tuberculosis Care (ISTC)
Indonesia is the second country with the highest burden pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) cases world wide. One of the province with low Case Detection Rate (CDR) is Riau province in 2013. This is a descriptive study with survey method. This study uses a questionnaire that has been distributed to 31 private general practitioners at District Sukajadi and Pekanbaru Kota in November 2016. The questionnaire consists of 13 questions of knowledge, 15 attitudes statements and 15 practice statements. Out of 31 doctors who answered the questionnaire, 8 of them (25,8%) had good knowledge, 12 of them (38,7%) had enough knowledge and 11 of them (35,5%) had less knowledge. The results of attitude questions were 10 (35,5%) doctors had positive attitude and 21 (64,5%) had negative attitude. Good practice was 4 (12,9%) doctors, enough practice was 24 (77,4%) doctors and less practice was 3 (12,8%).The knowledge of private general practitioner about pulmonary TB’s diagnosis and management in District Sukajadi and Pekanbaru Kota is enough, more than half of respondents had negative attitudes and the practice of private general practitioner was enough. The results indicate that Indonesian Physician Association should provide further guidance or training to private general practitioner.
