Prevalensi Dan Pola Sensitivitas Antimikroba Multidrug Resistant Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode 01 Januari 2015 - 31 Desember 2015
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is one of the cause of infection which can be found in hospital. Multidrug resistant becomes one of major challenge in managing infection P. aeruginosa. Antibiograms at the facility should be maintained and updated in order to assist providers caring for patients. This is a descriptive and retrospective study. Culture results data from all specimens from 01 January to 31 December 2015 which examined in Clinical Pathology Laboratories Microbiology Unit were included in this study. Identification and resistance test performed with Vitek 2 compact. All the data processed with WHOnet software. From 121 isolates P. aeruginosa, 45,5% were multidrug resistant. A hundred percents isolates P. aeruginosa from urin, 50,0% from blood, 47% from pus, and 42,9% from sputum were multidrug resistant. Percentage of P. aeruginosa multidrug resistant from Surgical ward, Polyclinic, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Medical ward, VIP, and were 62,0%, 57% , 44,4%, 44,0%, 28,0%, and 20,0% respectively. Multidrug resistant strains had highest sensitivity to amikacin (50,90%) and meropenem (25,45%). The incidence of P. aeruginosa multidrug resistant in Arifin Achmad General Hospital, Riau Province was high. Antibiotic choice for treatment of P. aeruginosa multidrug resistant was very limited.
