Aktivitas Antioksidan Dan Toksisitas Metabolit Sekunder Jamur Endofit (Sporothrix Sp. Lbkurcc43) Yang Diisolasi Dari Tanaman Dahlia (Dahlia Variabilis)
Endophytes are microorganisms that live in host plant for a certain period by forming a colony without causing any apparent desease symptoms. Endophytic fungus Sporothrix sp. LBKURCC43 is one of fungi which has been succeded to be isolated from Dahlia tuber (Dahlia variabilis). This reseach aimed to produce secondary metabolytes, to measure toxicity and antioxidant activity, and to determine structure of secondary metabolytes using UV spectroscopy and FTIR spectroscopy. Based on phytochemical screening, secondary metabolyte produced at the fifth day in fermentation medium Sabouraud Dextrose Broth (SDB) contained flavonoid compunds while other metabolytes produced at the 10th and 20th in fementation medium Malt Extract Broth (MEB) contained flavonoid and saponin. Measurement of antioxidant activity showed the highest activity was found in 5th day in SDB medium with IC50 of 205,632 μg/mL. In addition, based on Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT), secondary metabolyte produced in MEB was more toxic than those produced in Huang medium and SDB medium with LC50 of 3,1369 μg/ml. Identification of functional groups using infrared spectrophotometry and found that the metabolyte in SDB medium in fifth day and MEB medium in tenth day belonged to a group of flavonoid.
