Kristal Hemoglobin Pada Bercak Darah Yang Dipaparkan Sodium Hipoklorit (NaOCl) Menggunakan Tes Takayama
Bloodstain is commonly found in crime scene on clothes, floor, chair, table and weapon. The perpetrators will try to remove bloodstain using chemical substance one of them is sodium hypochlorite. The goal of this research is to identify a hemoglobin crystals in a bloodstain on object glasses and fabrics exposed to sodium hypochlorite with concentration of 5,25% and 0,15% using Takayama test and seen under microscope. The result show that both bloodstain on object glasses and fabrics exposed to sodium hypochlorite 5,25% and 0,15% show no Takayama crystals. These might caused by sodium hypochlorite which distruct heme binding on hemoglobin structure so there is no reaction between heme and pyridine on Takayama test. It can be concluded hemoglobin crystals on bloodstain were not found both on object glasses or fabrics exposed to sodium hypochlorite.
Keywords: crystals hemoglobin, bloodstain, sodium hypochlorite, Takayama test.
