Optimasi Temperatur Cooling Water Dan Hot Water Pada Sistem 2 Bed Adsorption Chiller

Environmental pollution as well as the amount of energy consumption is one of the biggest problems of air conditioning and refrigeration systems used today, so it needs technology that is environmentally friendly and energy efficient. Adsorption chiller is one of the technologies for air conditioning and refrigeration system that is energy efficient and environmentally friendly because the refrigerant used does not mean haolokarbon and does not use the compressor in the system so that energy saving. This study utilizes the adsorption phenomenon to cause a cooling effect between water-silica gel as the adsorbent and adsorbate pair. In this study to obtain temperature optimization, varied hot water (50ºC, 60ºC and 70ºC) and cooling water (20ºC, 25ºC and 30ºC) for each cycle 500 secon, 600 secon and 700 secon. For optimization of hot water temperature cooling water remains 30ºC while for optimization of cooling water hot water temperature kept 60ºC. Hot water flow rate, cooling water and chilled water are 20 lpm, 15 lpm and 5 lpm respectively. Pursuant to result of research got that optimal temperature hot water that is at temperature 50ºC cycle time 700 secon that is with COP 0,52 and optimum temperature for cooling water is 25ºC at cycle time 700 secon that is with COP 0,50.
