based on the observation while the author found that the long jump ability students still in the unfavorable category. Most students do not achieve the desired distance by teachers. This problem is suspected as factors of leg muscle explosive power of students, which is seen in the results in repulsion when jumping supported beam so the end result was not optimal leap. For the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of explosive muscle power with the long jump results of students with the kind of correlational research. The sample in this study were students sons and daughters who amount to 25 people with a total sampling technique. Analysis of the data in this study using product moment correlation and Liliefors test for normality. After analysis of the data obtained rhitung value = 0.615, rtabel = 0.396 thus it can be concluded as can the relationship of explosive Power limb muscles with long jump results Student Class V SD Negeri 014 Rambah Rokan Hulu.
