Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Konsep Bilangan Melalui Media Kaleng Angka Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahundi PAUD Baitul Muttaqin Kecamatan Seberida Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu
This study aims to determine the description of the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Baitul Muttaqin Seberida District Indragiri Hulu. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The place and time of this research was conducted in PAUD Baitul Muttaqin Seberida Sub-district Indragiri Hulu Regency, which was held for 4 months. Subjects in this study were all children aged 4-5 years, amounting to 12 people. Data collection techniques used are observations to collect data using the formula percentage. Based on the results of the study note that the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Baitul Muttaqin Seberida District Indragiri Hulu can be increased through the media cans of numbers. In prasiklus, the average value of the child is 43.75% or in the Starting category. In Cycle I the average value of the child is 51.17% or in the category Expanding According to Expectations. At the end of Cycle II the average value of the child is 87.04% or is in the Very Growing category. The increase in the ability to recognize the concept of the number of children that occurred from Prasiklus to Cycle I was 24% and the ability to recognize the concept of the number of children from Cycle I to Cycle II by 61%, with a general increase from Prasiklus to Cycle II of 99%.
