Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berbicara Melalui Kegiatan Bercerita Dengan Buku Bergambar Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di TKN Pembina Siak Kecil Kabupaten Bengkalis
This study uses classroom action research (PTK) that explains how to
improve the ability of speaking of children aged 5-6 years through telling story by using
illustrated book in TK Negeri Pembina Siak Kecil District of Bengkalis. The ability of
children may increase as a telling story by using illustrated book could attract children
to speaking or telling story that are applied by the teacher (researcher) in the classroom.
Such improvements can be seen from the results of the acquisition value of the average
percentage of existing in this study. The average value of the percentage of the initial
data is 40,83% with the criteria began to grow (MB), while the value of the average
percentage in the first cycle is 52,63% with the criteria remains that begin to expectation
(BSH). This means there has been increased from the initial data for the first cycle of
11,80%. The value of the average percentage obtained in the second cycle is 78,12% with
developing criteria began to very good (BSB), whereas in the previous cycle (cycle I) is
52,63% with the criteria began to expectation (BSH). It also shows that there has been an
increase in the ability of children from the first cycle to the second cycle of 25,49 %. So
therefore, if the method is implemented with the story telling well in learning process
about speaking ability for children 4-5 years , there will be an increase in the children
speaking ability, as expected.
