Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Bentuk Geometri Melalui Kartu Bergambar Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di PAUD Harapan Bunda Kecamatan Bunga Raya Kabupaten Siak
The development effort that can be done by educators in developing the potential possessed by children can be through the medium of learning and one of them is through picture cards. This game is a card display in varying pictures of the food. Hopefully, through this illustrated card game method will children early childhood Harapan Bunda Bunga Raya Subdistrict Siak able to easily in the ability to recognize shapes with good geometry.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the application of picture cards in meningkatkatkan ability to recognize geometric shapes, to determine whether the picture cards can improve the ability to recognize shapes of geometry, to determine the magnitude of improvement in the child's ability to recognize shapes geometry capabilities with picture cards. The results of this study are expected to be used as a knowledge of teaching methods, and in particular the method of play to improve the ability to recognize shapes of geometry. The data used in this study are primary data using techniques of data collection and observation sheets.
Based on data analysis and the results of the percentage of the increase can be said that by using picture cards can improve the ability to know the geometry of children aged 4-5 years. Starting from the observation of teachers in the ability to recognize shapes geometry before the treated an average value of 42.08% of children with Start Developing criteria, because the child can begin to do activities, but is still supported by the teacher.
This study followed on stage in the first cycle by using a learning plan should be prepared to see an increase in the ability to recognize shapes of geometry through the game card with a picture of the average value of the ability to recognize shapes of geometry by 58.19% with the criteria of Emerging as expected, because the child is able to conduct yet still supported by the teacher. From the preliminary data for the first cycle showed an increase from 42.08% to 58.19% means there is an increase of 38.28% and berkriteria Start Developing for the research should be continued in the second cycle. In the second cycle there have been an average yield of 73.61% Emerging accordance with the criteria of Good Hope, because in the activities children can do activities without the help of teachers. Thus the resulting increase from the first cycle to the second cycle of 26.49%. Means through picture cards can enhance the ability berhi ability to recognize geometric shapes tung in children aged 4-5 in early childhood Harapan Bunda Bunga Raya Subdistrict Siak dilakuakan developed very well in this study.
