ABSTRACT

The aims study are to determine : (1) to determine the visitor type of Tujuh Tingkat waterfall in Lubuk Ambacang, Village of Hulu Kuantan District of Kuantan Singingi regency; (2) to determine the facilities in according to the development efforts of visitor type of Tujuh Tingkat waterfall in Lubuk Ambacang, Village of Hulu Kuantan District of Kuantan Singingi regency. The methods of this study are qualitative with descriptive approach, the subject of this study are the visitors of Tujuh Tingkat waterfall and the communities around tourist attraction technique of data collection are observation, interview, and document research. The technique of data Analysis used in this study are, data reduction, presentation of data, and conclusion.
The results of this study are: (1) the visitors who come to the Tujuh Tingkat waterfall are mass tourism visitors, it seems on several characteristics of the mass tourist visitors, they come in groups of more than five people, they visit tourist attraction, just to relax, enjoy the scenery and enjoy the waterfalls, they are more spontaneous and flexible in organizing the journey and encouraged them to seek attraction such as ecotourism and adventure tourism; (2) from the of Tujuh Tingkat waterfall visitor, the development efforts of the facilities according to the type of visitor and tourism activities.
