Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Konsep Bilangan Melalui Media Kartu Remi Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di PAUD Alifa Kampung Besar Kecamatan Rengat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu
Abstract: The background of this research is based on the low ability of children aged 4-5 years in recognizing the concept of numbers. The symptoms found are some children have not been able to say many objects 1-10, some children have not been able to show the number 1-10, some children have not been able to show the symbol of number. The purpose of this research is to find out the media of playing cards in improving the ability to recognize the concept of numbers on children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Alifa Rengat District of Indragiri Hulu Regency. This research is a Class Action Research which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages, namely: planning, action, observation, reflection. The subjects of this study were children aged 4-5 years, amounting to 18 children, consisting of 9 boys and 9 girls. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques. While the technique of data analysis using the formula of . Based on the results of the research showed that the average initial ability to recognize the concept of the number on children is 44.91% with the criteria begin to develop. Then the researcher gives the action cycle I to the child through the media of playing cards. Learning outcomes obtained by children increased to an average of 55.71% with the criteria evolve as expected. The results obtained in cycle I have not been very satisfactory, and the researchers continue the action on cycle II through the media of playing cards. After going through the learning process repeatedly, the ability to recognize the concept of numbers on children has increased to an average of 86.57% with criteria developed very well. The result of data analysis from pre cycle to cycle II shows increase of 92,77%. This indicates that the children have started to get to know the concept of numbers well.
