Sistem Deteksi Jarak Jauh Untuk Klasifikasi Tingkat Kematangan Tandan Buah Segar Kelapa Sawit Menggunakan Metode Pencitraan Fluoresensi Yang Di Induksi Laser
An optical remote detection system using laser induced fluorescence imaging method has been used for the classification of ripeness levels. The measurements were conducted in laboratory and in the field. Research in laboratory determined ripeness based on distance variations of 1,7 m, 3 m, and 5 m, while in the field based on height variations which were 2.5 m, 3 m, 3,2 m, and 5 m. The optical system used consisted of a 650 nm (red), 405 nm (purple) diode laser, and a 1,3 Megapixel monochrome CMOS camera. FFBs samples used were Tenera varieties of Marihat and Lonsum clones for laboratory measurement and Topaz clone for field measurement with the ripeness levels that are traditionally defined as F0, and F1 (under ripe), F2 and F3 (ripe), and F4 (over ripe) for each FFBs taken. These ripeness levels were quantified by measuring the firmness of the fruit using a penetrometer. Fruit images that have been iluminated by laser were processed using ImageJ program. The intensity of gray value represents the fluorescence intensity of the fruit. The relationship between fluorescence intensity and ripeness levels (fraction), fruit firmness and height were analyzed. Results of research in the laboratory showed that the highest intensity of fluorescence was found at the ripeness level of (F2) of 2,24 a.u which was induced by the purple diode laser and the highest firmness value was at the ripeness level of (F0) of 9,97 kg/cm2. Results of research in the field showed that the highest intensity of fluorescence was found at the ripeness level of (F2) of 183,89 a.u which was induced by the purple diode laser and the highest firmness value was at the ripeness level of (F0) of 11,1 kg/cm2 and at different height tends to be the same but the fluorescence intensity decreases.
