Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Konsep Bilangan Melalui Media Papan Flanel Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan
Abstract: This research motivated by children’s ability in recognize the numbers concept in TK Negeri Pembina of Bunut Subdistrict of Pelalawan Regency that have not develop optimally. This research aimed to increasing ability to know about the numbers concept through flanel board as the media for children age 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina of Bunut Subdistrict of Pelalawan Regency. The subject of this research are 15 children in group B3 of TK Negeri Pembina. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research conducted as much as 2 cycle, in each cycle consist 4 stages namely planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. This research used observation as the data retrieval techniques. Based on the data analysis, known that the average of children’s ability in numbers concept before the Cycle is 42.78% with “Begin to Develop” criteria. In Cycle I after using flanel board as the media, the children’s ability increase until 51.29% with “Developed According to Expectation” criteria, while the average of Cycle II is 75.37% with “Developed-Very Well” criteria. It means that using flanel board as the media can increasing the ability to know the numbers concept for children age 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina of Bunut Subdistrict of Pelalawan Regency.
