Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Konsep Bilangan Melalui Media Sisik Ikan Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun di PAUD Dunia Bunda Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in the ability to recognize the
symbol of numbers in children through the media of fish scales and find out how
the increase that occurred in Paud Dunia Bunda Bangko District Rokan Hilir
Regency. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research method
which conducted two cycles, data collection tool used in this research is in the
form of observation sheet, the number of samples in this research are 15 children
consist of 7 boys and 8 girls . Based on the analysis of the assessment process of
two cycles there is an increase. Increasing that happened from before action of
cycle I equal to 26,00%, cycle I cycle II 41, 27%, and increase from before cycle
II II equal to 78,44%. From the results of this study obtained the conclusion that
the media scales fish can improve the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers
through the media scales of fish in children aged 4-5 years in Paud Bunda World
Bangko District Rokan Hilir Regency. As a suggestion from the research for this
study is for people who are in the world of early childhood education whether
teachers, principals and parents are expected to work together in improving the
quality of education, especially in early childhood education in accordance with
the duties and obligations.
