Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Huruf Melalui Media Papan Flanel Pada Anak Usia 4–5 Tahun di TK Islam Al-Mukarramah Kecamatan Kateman Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
Abstract: Prior to conducting classroom action research, background, problem formulation and research objectives need to be done in order to occur synchronization between the problem and research objectives. Because the purpose of the research is to solve the problem then if the problem formulation reads: "How can the application of flannel board media improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years in Islamic Kindergarten Al-Mukarramah Kateman District Indragiri Hilir?", Then the appropriate destination Is "To know how the application of flannel board media can improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years in Islamic TK Al-Mukarramah Kateman District Indragiri Hilir". Once clear the problem and purpose of the research then followed by determining the indicators of the application of flannel board media can improve the ability to recognize letters and sequence of activities in accordance with the grille of the ability to recognize letters that have been designed previously. The sequence of activities that the researchers pour in the Daily Learning Implementation Plan (RPPH), through data collection instruments in the form of activity sheet the ability to recognize letters, activity sheets and activity activities of children. From the results of reflection in the form of evaluation of the implementation of learning, the researchers carry out further actions to improve the deficiencies that occur in the implementation of learning in accordance with the planned action until the researchers feel satisfied that the actions that have been implemented have met the success and can improve the ability to recognize letters through flannel board media In children aged 4-5 years in Islamic Kindergarten Al-Mukarramah Kateman District Indragiri Hilir District. This study was conducted in 2 cycles and each cycle three meetings. Data collection of this research was conducted in April 2017. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively between cycles, while the analysis of the ability to recognize letters through flannel board media on children was done quantitatively. The amount of letter literacy improvement through flannel board media in children aged 4-5 years in Islamic Kindergarten Al-Mukarramah Kateman District Indragiri Hilir Regency obtained the results before cycle to cycle I of 36.87%, cycle I to cycle II of 42.44% And before cycle to cycle II is equal to 94,95%
