Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas Vii3 Smp Negeri 32 Pekanbaru Melalui Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Dengan Pendekatan Think Pair Square (Tps)
This research is motivated by lower grade student learning outcomes VII3 SMP 32 Pekanbaru is still under KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) as determined by the school is 75. Based on the observation that researchers do in class VII3 SMP 32 Pekanbaru, there are learning problems mathematics needs to be fixed. The problems of learning mathematics student in question is not able to understand the concept of the material being taught. High ability students tend to be more active and dominated learning in the classroom. In addition, students are also not given the opportunity for teachers to think independently in advance, resulting most students just wait for the results of his work to another. This led to gaps in learning, where the uneven spread of learning experiences between siswa.Penelitian aims to improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes math class students VII3 SMP 32 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the academic year 2015-2016 in the subject matter of the triangle and rectangular through the implementation of cooperative learning approach to Think Pair Square (TPS). Based on the analysis of research data showing the activity of teachers and students have done well after doing the action. An increased number of students who achieve at UH KKM end of each cycle in comparison with the number of students who reach KKM on a base score, increasing the number of students who received grades developments 20 and 30 compared to the value of the development of 5 and 10. The results of this study showed that the implementation of cooperative learning approach think Pair Square (TPS) can improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes math class students VII3 SMP 32 Pekanbaru second semester of school year 2015-2016 in the subject matter of the triangle and rectangle.
