Prospek Pengembangan Industri Pengolahan Kakao (Studi Kasus Pabrik Mini Chokato Payakumbuh)

This research was conducted on the cocoa processing industry of mini Chokato factory in Payakumbuh city, the purpose of this study is to find out wheter the cocoa processing industry has good prospects to developed. This study uses primary data and secondary data, while the method used in this research is descriptive method and quantitative method. The research result show feasibility on the cocoa processing industry of mini Chokato factory Payakumbuh city, seen on Net Present Value (NPV) calculation of Rp124.106.326 which mean value of NPV greater than zero (0), and positive value. Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio) calculation result of 1,07 which mean greater than 1, this show that the cocoa processing industry has good prospects to developed. And at Internal Rate of Return the result is 21,85% declared feasible because the IRR value is graeter than 12% (the specified interest rate) shows that the cocoa processing industry of mini Chokato factory Payakumbuh city is feasible to be developed, and can provide benefits to industrial owners.
