Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Huruf Melalui Permainan Stik Huruf Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di Paud Kasih Bunda Kecamatan Tempuling Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
Absract: This research is based on the low ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Kasih Bunda Tempuling District Indragiri Hilir Regency. The purpose of this study to determine the extent of the ability to recognize the letters through the game letter sticks on children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Kasih Bunda Tempuling District Indragiri Hilir Regency. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). The subjects of this study were 12 children, 6 girls and 6 boys in PAUD Kasih Bunda Kecamatan Tempuling District Indragiri Hilir Regency. Data collection techniques in this study using observation. Based on the data analysis can know the ability to recognize letters before the action obtained an average value of 43.75% with the criteria Start Develop (MB). After doing the act of ability to know letters in cycle I get the average value of 67.59% with the criteria of Expanding Expectations (BSH), and in cycle II get the average value of 81.71% with the criteria of Growing Very Good (BSB.The increase of the ability to recognize the letters of children obtained in cycle I to cycle II to get an increase of 20.89%, from the initial data to the cycle I obtained an increase of 54.4%, and from the initial data to cycle II to obtain an increase of 86.7%. Thus the game of sticks letters can improve the ability to recognize the letters of children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Kasih Bunda Tempuling District Indragiri Hilir regency has been very good (BSB).
