Pola Musim Penangkapan Ikan Tongkol (Euthynnus Affinis) Berdasarkan Data Landing Di Perairan Sibolga Sumatera Utara

This research was conducted in November 2017 at Territorial Fishing Port of Sibolga, North Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study is to find out the appropriate fishing season for catching mackarel tuna (Euthynnusaffinis) and obtaining fluctuations in tuna catches in sibolga’s waters. This research use survey method, monthly production data and effort data from Territorial Fishing Portof Sibolga, North Sumatra Province and analyzed with the average percentage based on the time series so get the catch season index (IMP) for five years. Tuna in sibolga waters can be captured throughout the year. The fishing season occurred in March, April, May and November with the highest arresting season occurs in November in the west season. Key word :mackarel tuna, Fishing season, SibolgaNorth Sumatera.
