Abstrac: The purpose of this research is as follows: 1). To know the improvement of fine motor ability of children aged 4-5 years through finger painting activities in PAUD KB Al-Fatayat Pambang Baru Village Bantan District Bengkalis District, 2). To know the implementation of finger painting activities in an effort to improve the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD KB Al-Fatayat Pambang Baru Village District Bantan Bengkalis District, 3). To know the extent of improvement of fine motor ability of children aged 4-5 Years through finger painting activities in children aged 4-5 years in PAUD KB Al-Fatayat Pambang Baru Village District Bantan Bengkalis District. This form of research is a classroom action research, using an observation sheet consisting of 6 indicators of fine motor ability. Based on observation from before action indicating that the fine motor ability of 4-5 year old child in KB Al Fatayat District of Bantan is still low, with the average value of percentage is 39,1%. Starting from that, researchers intend to improve the ability of children through finger painting activities, with the aim that the child's ability to change to be better than before. At the time the researchers apply the action in the form of cycles I and II, each consisting of 3 meetings, researchers use the activities of finger painting. From the results of the implementation of these activities obtained the data of fine motor skills of children increased from 39.1% at the time before the action to 48.4% at the time after the action cycle I. Similarly in the next cycle, the results showed that the ability of children increased from 48.4 % in cycle I to 76% in cycle II.
