Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berbicara Melalui Metode Bercerita dengan Media Gambar Seri Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun di KB Al - Barokah Desa Boncah Kesuma Kecamatan Kabun Kabupaten Rokan Hulu
Abstract: The background of this research is the lack of speaking ability of children is still categorized as MB (Start Developing), because the method often used by teachers in improving the ability of talking children only through the method of conversation. With this method, the child is only passive in listening to the story, through the method of conversation the child is unable to speak systematically even some children difficult to tell a good language. Therefore it is necessary to improve the ability of children to speak through storytelling with series drawings. From the data analysis is known to increase the ability to speak 4-5 years old children through the method of story telling with series drawings. Through observations made in the pre-cycle stage has an average figure of 35.50% included in the category Start Start (MB). In cycle I the average figure reached 49.58% included in the category Started Develop (MB). This research was conducted for 2 weeks which consisted of two cycles, cycle I was three meetings, because in cycle I, the children's speaking ability was still in the category of Start-Up (MB) then the research was continued in cycle II. From the results of research, the increase obtained from pre-cycle to cycle I has increased by 40%, from cycle I to cycle II, the increase of children by 41% increase. In this second cycle the improvement of speech ability of children has increased significantly and fall into the category of Expectant Expectation (BSH) with a score of 97%. Through story-telling methods with series drawings can improve the speaking ability of children aged 4-5 years in KB Al-Barokah Village Bencah Kesuma District Kabun Rokan Hulu District.
