Abstract: This research is aimed to improve the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in Paud Sekar Hati Desa Pakning Origin of Bengkalis Regency through traditional game of dragon snake. The research is classroom action research with 10 research subjects Data collection methods using observation sheets. Technique of data analysis using descriptive analysis. The result of the research showed the increase of gross motor ability of children aged 5-6 years from the initial data 41% in the first cycle increased to 54.16%, and the second cycle increased by 70.33%. rough children are in the category of developing as expected. From the above data it can be concluded that the traditional dragon snake game is very effective used to improve the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in Paud Sekar Hati Village Pakning Origin Bengkalis Regency.
