Abstract: The purpose of this research is 1) To know the increasing use of role playing method can increase emotional intelligence in children aged 4-5 years in KB Nurul Hikmah Village Jangkang Bantan District Bengkalis District. 2) To know the implementation of role playing method in an effort to increase emotional intelligence at 4-5 years old kid in KB Nurul Hikmah Village Jangkang Bantan District Bengkalis District. 3) To know about the increase of emotional intelligence resulting from the use of role playing methods in children aged 4-5 years in the Nurul Hikmah Family Village Jangkang District Bantan District Bengkalis. This form of research is a classroom action research, using an observation sheet consisting of 8 indicators. Increasing emotional intelligence through role playing method in children, based on the results of research shows in every cycle of meeting the increase that can be seen through percentage of emotional intelligence, with percentage value before cycle 37,24%, Cycle I 45,74%, Cycle II 73, 95%. It can be seen from the improvement of children data from before the treatment to cycle I is 22%, and cycle I to cycle II is 61% and increase from before treatment to cycle II equal to 98%. So it can be concluded that through the activity of role-playing method can increase emotional intelligence in children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Nurul Hikmah Village Jangkang Bengkalis District Bengkalis Bengkalis.
