In an effort to improve the gross motor skills in children, an educator must be able to provide a meaningful method of learning. Therefore, the researcher is interested to use rope jumping game to improve the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Mitiara Hati Pambang Baru Village Bantan District Bengkalis Regency. This study aims to find out how much improvement in gross motor abilities of children by using a jump rope game. Sabjek in this study were 10 people consisting of 6 girls and 4 boys. The method of research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consists of and several stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. In this study the hypothesis is the motor skills roughly aged 4-5 years old children can be improved through the game jump rope in PAUD Mutiara Hati Pambang Baru Village Bengkalis Regency. This is known from the analysis of data obtained overall average value on the ability of motor rough child equal to 77,29% in BSB criteria that is child develop very good. Then it can be seen that with the game jump rope can improve motor skills roughly in children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Mutiara Hati.
