Pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Kepala Sekolah SMP Se- Kabupaten Siak
The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and work motivation on public yunior high schools’ headmaster’s performance. This research was conducted in SIAK. This type of quantitative research takes data from the respondents as many as 55 headmasters. The data is taken by using questionnaire, then the data were analyzed by simple regression. The result of this research shows that (1) there is positive and significant influence of job satisfaction on headmaster’s performance of 45%, (2) there is positive and significant influence of work motivation to headmaster’s performance of 31%, and (3) there is positive and significant job satisfaction and work motivation collectively on headmasters performance by 51%.
This the influence of job satisfaction and work motivation on headmaster’s performance is high category. The researcher suggest that it is necessary to continuously improve the quality of teachers by carrying out their main tasks and functions, improving and evaluating headmasters' performance and increasing motivation and high motivation to work.
