Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase of the ability to recognize the symbol of numbers by using the media card number At Age 4-5 Years at KB Pelita Hati Village Payung Island District Rumbio Jaya. The population in this study is children aged 5-6 years in KB Pelita Hati Village Payung Island District Rumbio Jaya, amounting to 15 people. This research is in the form of classroom action research with data collection technique by using observation and observation sheet. The data collecting is done by teacher as a researcher during the process of action implementation. Data can be collected with various techniques, such as observation, interviews, diaries and so on. Observation is one of the most critical data collection techniques in classroom action research. Data analysis techniques Quantitative data analysis aims to describe data about teacher and child activities during learning process and data of ability to recognize the symbol of the number of children, then categorized in high, medium and low classification. Based on the results of the research can be known to increase the ability to recognize the symbol of baingan by using the media card number At age 4-5 Years at KB Pelita Hati Village Payung Island District Rumbio Jaya. During the activities using the number cards can increase the ability of children to recognize the number symbol because the activity of the card number is very favored by the child, The increase is due to the activities by using a number card made in such a way, by using various activities of interest to the child, where the child Motivated in doing this activity by contested and pairing cards with objects together. So the increase from cycle I to cycle II increased by 33.35%, and from before the action to cycle II there was an increase of 83.75%
