Strategi Komunikasi Badan Pengelola Dalam Meningkatkan Kunjungan Wisatawan Di Masjid Agung Islamic Centre Rokan Hulu
Rokan Hulu is a Regency in Riau Province which has the nickname "Negeri Seribu Suluk" has one of the religious tourism is the Grand Mosque of Islamic Center Rokan Hulu. The mosque is managed by an Agency formed by the Regent of Rokan Hulu called the Management Body. This mosque has the beauty and uniqueness and has an achievement so that every year the number of visits increased, related to this Agency Management is a communication strategy that aims to increase the number of tourist visits. This research was conducted to find out communicator strategy, audience strategy, messaging strategy, media strategy, and the effect of communication strategy done by Management Agency in increasing the number of tourist visit at Grand Mosque Islamic Center Rokan Hulu.
This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects involved in this study are determined based on purposive and accidental techniques consisting of the Management Board of the Grand Mosque of Islamic Center Rokan Hulu and Penggunjung or tourists. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive data model Miles and Huberman with the examination of the validity of the data is done by using extension techniques of participation and triangulation.
The research results show that is using management agency the communications strategy among others the communicators strategy where the communicators in the dissemination of information management board credible , knowledge , and skill .Namely the public management board target by the people and groups on the basis of from a purpose and interests of the tourism of visitors. Then, a message them is a message than informative and persuasive, the form of a message than informative in the form of history , facilities, the activities such as Tablig Akbar and wirid, while the persuasive message form is a call to re-visit and invite the activities of the Grand Mosque Islamic Center Rokan Hulu delivered directly or using media. Media used by the Management Agency are mass media and face-to-face media or directly, mass media which are printed media, electronic media, and online media. Meanwhile, the media face-to-face or directly like the service and guided tours conducted by the Management Board of the Great Mosque Islamic Center Rokan Hulu. The effects of communication strategies undertaken by the Management Board are divided into two sections. Firstly, there is an increase in visitors and secondly, the reduction of the number of tourist visits based communications strategy the Board of Mosque Management Grand Mosque Islamic Centre of Rokan Hulu.
