Basilar skull fracture is one of cranial fracture’s part that including to classification of head injury. The aim of this study was to find out the case description of basilar skull fracture on patient of head injury in Arifin Achmad General Hospital, Riau Province period 2015 – 2016. We underwent a retrospective descriptive study using secondary data from medical record of basilar skull fracture’s patient on period of January 1st 2015 to December 31st 2016. The result showed that there were 40 medical record of basilar skull fractures which suitable with code of ICD-10 (International Classification of Diseases-10) is S02.1. The highest characteristic of basilar skull fracture’s patient occurred at age range 15 – 24 years (35%) and male gender (85%). Basilar skull fracture’s patient had suffered mild head injury (67,5%). The most anatomical location that basilar skull fracture had occurred in middle cranial fossa (60%). The most clinical symptom that patient had felt is otorrhea (46,3%). Basilar skull fracture’s patient with facial palsy is 1 patient (4,2%). There are 39 alive patients of basilar skull fracture (97,5%) after had hospitalized.
