Upin and Ipin is an animation that aired in Indonesia with a high enough rating. One episode of Upin and Ipin that aired in Indonesia is season 10 episode 11. The episode tells about the children who want to learn their culture that is the wayang kulit culture. The purpose of this study is to see how the representation and meaning of connotation denotation, and the identity myths of children in animation Upin and Ipin and how the ideology contained in the animation Upin and Ipin season 10 episode 11

The research method used is qualitative method with content analysis approach (semiotics). Subjects used in this study are the scenes that are in the animation Upin and Ipin Episode 11 Season 10. To collect research data using, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis technique in this research is using Roland Barthes Semiotics analysis technique. In establishing the validity of data, researchers use techniques to increase persistence.

The results showed that the identity of children represented as individuals who still want to learn their own domestic culture. The form of identity is, fantasize and imagine, have curiosity, spontaneous, learn many things using their body, and have a high learning spirit. In the seasonal animation of 10 episode 11 there is also an ideology that is displayed through the signs that are in it that relate to the wayang kulit culture.
