Aplikasi Sistem Fire Weather Index (FWI) Untuk Pendugaan Kelembaban Udara Dilahan Gambut Desa Rimbo Panjang Kampar Kota Pekanbaru
Research on the application of Fire Weather Index (FWI) system in peatland area for air humidity estimation in Rimbo Panjang Kampar village, Pekanbaru has been successfully done. Air humidity estimation is done by using the parameters of humidity, wind speed, air temperature and rainfall. The data is taken using Automatic Weather System (AWS) which has been installed in Rimbo Panjang Village with height 200 m, and placed in open place, this is done in order to get the data maximally. The output data from the AWS device is automatically stored into the mini PC in the form of wind speed (x1), air temperature (x2), rainfall (x3) and humidity (y), then the data obtained is processed using SPSS program using linear regression equation, then enter the humidity value as dependent variable and rainfall, wind velocity and air temperature as independent variable, then data is plotted using linear regression equation so that the prediction value of wind speed (b0 = -0.161), air temperature (b1 = -0,992) and rainfall (b2 = -123,886). Then the data entered into the linear regression equation so that obtained the model of air humidity estimation that is: y = 107,793-0.161 (x1) -0,992 (x2) -123,886 (x3). Based on the research results can be informed that the relationship between air humidity is very influential on wind speed, air temperature, and rainfall, that the smaller the wind speed, air temperature and rainfall the greater the air humidity, and vice versa the greater the wind speed, air temperature and wind speed than the humidity will be smaller. Data processing is also done using surver program to know the value of air humidity distribution, the test result using surver program explains that the air humidity value is very big influenced by wind speed and air temperature, while the value of rainfall very little influence to humidity value, this is because bulk value the rain is very small, so very little effect on the value of moisture.
